A Personalized Wedding Ceremony

I have always enjoyed planning a wedding for my clients.I believe that each wedding has its own unique character.
I find the traditional weddings a classic one and adding creativity is another story. Every aspect of it plays a big role, from the theme and motif, the church and reception venue, readings to the music and symbolism, everything should be given attention to details.

Here are some ideas I always share with my Bride every time we brainstorm and conceptualize their wedding.

Up Close and Personal - I ask them to share their story. How they met, fell in love, the story of the groom's proposal. It is important for me to know for the purpose of including some stories during the mass and the reception.

Heritage and Traditions - Another good aspects to include are the cultural and religious backgrounds of my clients. Culture, traditions and religious beliefs plays an important role in planning a wedding. It makes the couple feel homey and comfortable because it creates a distinctive blend and symbolism to the bride and groom.

Involving Family and Friends - Wedding is not only a union of the bride and groom, but as well as their family and friends. I always involve family members and friends from both the bride and groom to add up creativity to the ceremony. I always believe that they play a big role in weddings.

Brides and Grooms may have the perfect plan for their wedding, but it is still important to reflect your values and making this day truly yours..express yourself among your family and friends through the uniqueness of your wedding, as our team on the other hand sets the tone of a wonderful celebration.

Honeymoon Inspirations

My clients always ask me if there is a formula in choosing a honeymoon destination. For me, there is none. Because I believe that every couple has a unique idea in mind how they want their honeymoon spent. Some couples would prefer to spend it in an atmosphere that will help them relax and connect, some would like it romantic, or just be with her fiance
to bond with each other and have lasting memories together.

No matter where and how you would want to spend it, remember that the most important thing for the both of you is to be yourself. This is the right time for you to dream about your future, talk about your goals and dreams and know that you're married.

Let yourselves enjoy each moment together and think about how you will spend your lives together.

A Vintage Inspired Wedding

As i sit over the 27th floor of Diamond Hotel's Sky Lounge watching the sunset, I had a glimpse of Sofitel and remembered my last wedding project which for me is one of the most challenging and time spent project I ever had.

Today's thought is a little bit about the Vintage themed wedding, which is not a first time idea.
The color motif of black, rose gold and white with a touch of orange and yellow made and filled up the
mood of the church and the venue.

I was so thrilled to showcase the physical arrangement and style made by my humble Event Stylist, Manuel Sony  Francisco and the gorgeous wedding shoot by DB Phosgraphis completed the whole picture of the wedding I called A Taste of a Vintage Wedding.

Moving on this fabulous wedding, this project is packed with unique details and challenges. The concept and details was submitted to my client for deliberation and was approved immediately. It took us a year to complete this quaint and unique wedding, but the efforts the team has contributed to make this event gorgeously possible has been successfully implemented. :)

I have found this article in one of my favorite blog site-Project Wedding! :)

This article would help a lot of Brides out there who makes a big deal out of their wedding veils.
I have encountered with my own client who have decided not to wear her veil for the reason that she wants to
show more of her hair color than wearing the traditional bridal veil, only in the end that she realizes that there are only
a few instances where a girl wears her veil.

Whatever reasons every Bride has in wearing veils...what is more important is for her to be comfortable on her wedding day
as what this blog says at the end of this article. :)

Planning your Honeymoon Getaway

After planning your wedding details for the much awaited event of your life, remember that there's one more thing to plan about, the HONEYMOON GETAWAY.

Here are some tips that can help you plan and manage your honeymoon.

1. Decide on a Budget -Budget determines all factors. This will dictate the kind of honeymoon you want to spend.
2. Choose a Transportation - Check airfares or just plan a honeymoon driving trip.
3. Focus on a Particular Destination - Would you like to go on a Caribbean Cruise or tropical beach like Hawaii is your idea? Why not try an exotic spot? An adventurous vacation? What climate do you prefer?
4. Determine activities and a place to stay and sights to see. - Make a list of activities both of you would want to experience.
5. Decide on the number of days -  This will depend on the kind of activities you will plan to splurge.
6. Design a Timetable - This will make sure that everything will be set on the day of the honeymoon
7. Pack - Bring only things that you need to make your vacation easier.
8. Spend Quality Time Together - Since this is a start of  more vacations after your marriage, learn how to spend and enjoy your quality time together.

Respondez, S'il Vous Plait (RSVP)

What does RSVP stands for? "Responde, S'il Vous Plait, which means "please reply"

Many of us don't know that a person sending an invitation would like to know if you're coming or attending the event or not? In a practical point of view, when we receive a formal written invitation we should promptly reply as soon as we receive it, because for hosts who are planning an event, it is important for them to know how many people to count on and how much food and drink to buy. Etiquette dictates this norm as a courtesy to someone inviting you. Now a days in the Philippines, many wedding invitations come with a response card. A practice that all Filipinos should know that if you receive an invitation, you should reply.
